about me

My journey into psychology was deeply influenced by my experiences growing up in various countries and cultures. From Buenos Aires to Madrid, Brussels to Rotterdam, and now Nice. These experiences sparked my curiosity about the diverse ways we are shaped by our environments, relationships, and inner worlds. I have always been fascinated by how our unique histories influence who we are, yet how we all share a fundamental need for connection—both with ourselves and others.

I believe in the power of therapy to help us reshape our relationship patterns and reconnect with our authentic selves. As Gabor Maté wisely said, "We can’t change the world that created our minds, but we can change the mind through which we create our world." This philosophy guides my work as I support clients in exploring the issues that keep them feeling stuck and helping them to find meaning and fulfilment.

In my practice, I work with a warm and compassionate approach so you can feel truly heard and understood. My approach is multidisciplinary, drawing from evidence-based approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness techniques. My goal is to help you navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns, CBT can help you develop healthier ways of thinking and coping with stress, anxiety, and depression.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT encourages you to embrace your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them. It helps you live in the present moment and guides you to take action based on your values, leading to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a specialized therapy designed to help you process and resolve traumatic memories and difficult experiences. Through structured sessions, this approach can help you develop healthier emotional responses and coping mechanisms.

Mindfulness Techniques

Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment without judgment. Through mindfulness exercises, you can develop greater awareness of your thoughts and feelings, helping you to manage stress, improve focus, and enhance your overall well-being.
